The amount of the child assistance payment varies from one family to another.
September can often be a financially tight month for some families. With regards to this, Retraite Quebec has introduced a new supplement for school supplies that can help get things in order.
The supplement will be paid to parents to help purchase school supplies. The amount that you will receive is $100 per school-aged child (between ages 4-16 on the 30th of September).
No application is necessary to receive the amount. If you are entitled to the amount, the $100 per school-aged child will be included in your child assistance payment of July 3rd 2018.
